Rose Cousins

Why T&S Likes her » With sweet vocals and heartfelt lyrics, Rose Cousins’ brand of folk is the perfect sountrack to accompany peppermint-tea infused quiet nights introspecting on life.

Two standout tracks are “Fair Island,” an upbeat number celebrating the pride of hailing from a land surrounded by nothing but coasts (something T&S can relate to) and “Good Enough,” a heartbreaking, melancholy tune posing a question we all may have asked ourselves in the midst of the most vulnerable parts of relationships.

The Official Word » “Rose Cousins has a knack for stirring the heart. A weave of her journey and thoughtful observation, her songs tell subtle stories open enough to belong to anyone. With expressive arrangements, warm guitar and effortless vocals, one would hardly believe she’s on stage alone.”

about indie.soulful

Every now and then truth & soul uncovers amazing music. We wanted a special way to share it with you, so we created indie.soulful.

Our featured musicians usually:

  • are independent
  • are local to Boston
  • & got a whole lotta soul

Not all features will necessarily fit all three points mentioned above, and sometimes we may even throw something at you from left field. In the end, though, we just wanna spread the beautiful music in our hearts.*
